Now this has an alien/godzilla/lizard feel to it. Definitely almost something relapsed from the 90's, maybe the Godzilla remake movie with Matthew Broderick? It's a good thing that after this, we will have the next sock available, "WODZILLA". Hopefully a whole bunch of CrossFit gyms will go crazy after that :).
Looks familiar, doesn't it?
That's fair game, but don't underestimate these babies. First they Achilles tendon and arch support (check around the gear). And second on the front, you get a little extra padding and breathing, as well as a little Crossfit signature on the toe.
I hope you enjoy our socks and they make your WOD much better, and more fun! How many CrossFit guys would like to see some performance crew socks?
“Love, love, love my socks. Exactly like the photo…good support and cool to look at! I don’t mind the PAIN at the gym anymore!”-for our Sergeant Pain CrossFit Socks
“Great service. Faster than expected.” -Andrew says, “thanks you for being so kind “
“Great and fast service, socks are wonderful!”
So there you go. We take pride in the quality and reliability of both our socks and our services. If you’ve bought from us, tell us what you think in the comments. Oh ya. Get your CrossFit socks soon, because the #CrossFitGames will be coming up shortly!
She's Britney. She's that girl who complains too much about working out. She's not very tough. She's the one who cries all the time about being over weight, but doesn't do anything about it. She's the girl on MTV's made, who runs for five minutes and cries. That's who's she's supposed to be. That Girl.
We've decided something as of late. The opportunities are endless for us. The opportunities are endless for CrossFit. We stumbled upon an idea, a movement, a new way of life. A new direction- we're going full board with these CrossFit Socks.
We especially made these socks for the CrossFit community.
We thought these socks were wacky, hilarious, and attention grabbing. I could just imagine some intense CrossFitters doing deadlifts, with blood running down the Chicken's leg. Intense imagery, I know.
Today I'm going to write about my growing affinity for CrossFit.
1. Pukie the Clown
Now this is hilarious. What better mascot than a clown who works out too hard, projectile vomiting on a gym floor? It's shocking. It's hilarious. It's CrossFit. It summarizes the audacity and pure, a consistent theme throughout all Crossfitters.
And what about the name? Pukie. Are you serious right now?
This thing looks like a jacked/rhoided out version of Krusty the Klown, drinking beer and taking meth.
2. WODs
One day a WOD could be like this: And like this on the next day
Why this is so great you ask? Variety. I feel like when you walk into a CrossFit gym, you don't know what to expect. One day you could be really challenging yourself aerobically and your muscle endurance, then the next day could be pure strength.
3. A new Gym Culture
I used to swim. I actually swam for over 15 years. After graduating school, and giving up my dreams as a professional swimmer, (we all can't be Michael Phelps), I found it difficult to work out. I tried everything.
Lifting. Lifting and cardio. Running. Cycling. Running and cycling. Walking on a high incline for an hour and a half. And to be honest- it's all boring.
Then I saw a video about the CrossFit culture. It's a new way to approach the gym. Instead of lazily walking into the gym, pumping four bench presses, walking for 10 minutes, then hitting the showers, CrossFit engages you mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
You are apart of a group. You are apart of something new, and different. No more being a slave to the treadmill. No more working out aimlessly, alone, disconnected.
And the best part about a WOD, it's generally short. But obviously produces results.
4. Unique Gyms
A Unicorn vomiting rainbows on the Hoff?
No gym is the same. They are everywhere. They have their own identity. This is changing the way we approach fitness. Fitness is a sport.
5. Top 10 CrossFit SLOGANS:
1. "Strong people are harder to kill than weak people; and are more useful in general."
The more and more I Google Image Crossfit people, the more tattoos I see. A little more edgier than your average gym goer. I have two tattoos, and plan on getting more. But upon coming from under the needle, applying lotion to my wounds, I realized tattoos give you a sense of identity and self-expression. NO PAIN, NO GAIN!
Also I think it's important to reject norms that don't make sense.
Like running on a treadmill for hours upon hours at low intensity.
